World Cup 2026 Predictor

If you think you know your football, why not test yourself in my World Cup Predictor? Earn points for correct scores and results and see how you rank in the leaderboards.

For the past 10 years I've been running a free-to-play football predictor league for the Premier League, World Cup and Euro tournaments. Simply predict the final scores for World Cup matches each day to earn points!

Scoring

  • If you predict the exact final score, you'll earn 3 points.
  • If you predict the correct result (e.g. home win, away win, draw), but don't get the score correct, you'll earn 1 point.
  • If you're completely wrong you'll get 0 points.

I also calculate your "Goal Difference", which is the number of goals your prediction was away from the actual final score. This is then used as a differentiator between players with the same number of points - so the closer you get to the actual score, the better.

Premium League

There's also an optional Premium League inside the game where you can pay a £10 entry fee to qualify to win prize money depending on how well you do. If you're just interested in predicing scores, the free game is open to everyone.

Every penny from the entry fees is paid back out as prizes and over the years we've awarded over £2,000 to the winners. The prize fund is usually around £200 on average, but the more premium players we have, the more prize money there is to give away.

This year the Premium League prize breakdown is as follows:

Winner Prize
Overall 1st Place 40%
Overall 2nd Place 20%
Overall 3nd Place 10%
3x Daily Winner Draw 10%

All of the match scores are added up to create a daily leaderboard and an overall leaderboard which covers the whole tournament. You can see a breakdown of these in the Leaderboards section.

Daily Winner Draw

At the end of the tournament, all Premium users who have finished top of the leaderboard for at least 1 match day will be drawn out at random and 3 lucky players will each win 10% of the prize fund.

This means there's always a reason to keep predicting even if you're nowhere near the top of the overall leaderboard as a single good day could have you in the draw.

If you've never played before, see the instructions below on how to get started.

Step 1: Create an Account

If you don't already have an account, visit the Register page to create one. You'll need to enter:
  • Your email address
    • This will be used to log in and you'll also receive reminder and result emails to it.
  • Your preferred display name
    • This will be shown in the leaderboards.
  • Your password
    • This is used when you log in. It's encrypted in the database and can't be read by anyone (even me) so it's safe - but I always recommend you use unique passwords for each website you sign up on for added security.
  • Optionally, enter your mobile number
    • If you use WhatsApp I can send out reminder messages each day to help you remember to update your predictions.

Step 2: Log In

Once your account has been created you'll be automatically logged into it. If for some reason you're not, visit the Log In page to do so manually with your email address and password. If you've forgotten your password you can reset it but this will send an email to your email address with a link you'll have to click. If you're not receiving the email for some reason, contact me on [email protected] and I'll see what I can do to help.

Step 3: Set Up Your Account

In the Premier League game, I usually offer users the chance to set up their "Default Scores", so if you forget to manually predict, you've already got some custom scores for every match.

For the World Cup, I've removed this functionality as it's not necessary - all matches will be defaulted to 0-0 until you manually change them - so your only choice when it comes to setting up your account is to choose whether or not you want to be involved in the Premium League.

You can view the terms and conditions and agree to them if you're happy to get involved, or just set up your account for the regular game.

Please be aware: If you want to join the Premium League, your entry fee must be paid by the end of the Group Stage on June 28th 2026, otherwise you will be removed from the Premium leaderboard.

Step 5: Begin Predicting!

You're all done with the set up. You can now manually change the scores for each match up until their kick-off time. You'll receive an automatic reminder email around 24 hours before the first game kicks off each day and if you entered your mobile number, I'll try to send you a WhatsApp message within 24 hours too (although this isn't always possible).

The final scores are entered manually so they won't appear immediately, but if you check back at the end of the day you should see a breakdown of how you did and you can check the leaderboard to see how you compared with everyone else.

To predict the scores, simply click the buttons to increase or decrease the goals for each team. Once you've predicted all of the matches for the match day, click Submit Predictions at the bottom (you need to do this before they're saved). After that, just watch the football and cross your fingers for correct scores!

That's all there is to it. If you have any problems feel free to contact me, otherwise I hope you enjoy playing along.
