Legends of Talia: Arcadia - PS5 Platinum Review

Legends of Talia: Arcadia is a very short visual novel which can be Platinum'd in around 30 seconds!

The story features a number of half-naked female characters with their boobs popping out of their clothing on a journey to defeat an evil dragon and save a village. Like a lot of visual novels, this one comes with a variety of settings to help you skip through the dialog should you wish to. Because of this, you can essentially have the story fast forward to the end in about 30 seconds which will unlock all of the trophies and the Platinum making it quite literally one of the easiest and fastest Platinum's I've ever unlocked. You can complete the game by pressing R1 once - it's that simple!

Overview

  • Release Date: 8th April, 2021
  • Publisher: Gamuzumi
  • Developer: Winged Cloud
  • Date Started: 9th April, 2021
  • Date Completed: 9th April, 2021
  • Version Played: Digital
  • Price: £2.49 (PS4 & PS5 Version Bundle)

The Good

  • It's very cheap and there are 2 Platinum's available.
  • If you want to skip the story, the Platinum can be yours in around 30 seconds!
  • The story is fairly well written and the artwork helps bring it to life.

The Bad

  • The fact you can skip the whole game for Trophies means a lot of people may not even know what it's about.
  • Although the artwork is nicely designed, there isn't much variety. You'll see the same characters with the same expressions multiple times, just moving around occasionally.

Hardest Trophy

  • Sudden Kiss - It pays of to stay after the credits rolled.

All of the trophies will unlock as you read or skip through the story. As long as you don't quit the game the instant you see the credits, this will unlock in a scene straight after. Whether you're skipping or reading the story, you'll get this automatically right at the end so it's not actually difficult at all.

Helpful Tips / Bugs / Glitches / Exploits

None required. If you want to finish the game in the quickest way possible, go into the settings before you start and make sure they look like the image below, then press R1 to skip and wait about 30 seconds for the Trophies to finish popping!

Platinum Difficulty Rating - 1/10

1/10

I'd give this 0/10 if there was any point. It's probably the easiest game ever made.

Platinum Time - 30 Seconds

If you skip the story with the settings I outlined above, you'll end up with a 30 (ish) second Platinum. If you want to read the story it might take somewhere around 30 mins to an hour.

Platinum Enjoyment Rating - 10/10

10/10
You can't argue with a Platinum which requires a single button press.

Overall Game Rating - 7/10

7/10
For the price and the fact it requires no effort it's a decent visual novel. If you're buying this expecting an actual game to play, there isn't one here, but if you know what you're getting it's a nice and easy short story.
